Job Summary:

​

An opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming team and to create a career for life at King of Flooring. We are looking for a Floor Fitter, preferably competent in domestic and commercial installations such as:

• luxury vinyl tiles 

• contract vinyl with welded joins

• vinyl coved skirting 

• domestic and commercial carpet

• carpet tiles

• plywood 

• latex smoothing compound

• DPM

This role is full time, contracted to 40 hours per week. Usual working hours are:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

This will involve daily travelling and your days/hours of work may change depending on job location therefore, flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business. You may also be required to work away from time to time as we work nationwide.

Duties and responsibilities:

• All work to be completed to a high standard 

• To fully comply with all Health & Safety legislation ​

• Be professional at all times especially when on site and dealing with clients

• To ensure complete client satisfaction

​

Applicant Requirements:

• Proven experience working within the flooring industry for at least 2 years

• Full current UK driving licence with at least 1 year driving experience since passing test. 

• Self-motivated and proactive 

• Positive attitude and the ability to work alone but also be a team player

• NVQ level 2 in floor coverings preferred but not essential

• Valid CSCS card preferred but not essential 

• Some of our clients require our employees to have an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check (a valid DBS check is preferred but not essential)
